Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Ribeiro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Ulizes Sola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Walter Huarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Huarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevallos Provencio to maneuver through the defense. Astillero del Guayas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Adriano Ribeiro scored to the left of an out of position Walter Huarte, making the score, 0-7. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lawrance Grandison scored 0-8 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Huarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Lawrance Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Huarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lawrance Grandison managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Obscurials's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrance Grandison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Huarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Obscurials's Zheng Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 86th minute of play. Anders Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cevallos Provencio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrance Grandison in the 91st minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
