Quincy Walker took the corner. When Yuri Djorkaeff fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Yuri Djorkaeff a yellow card for diving instead. Yuri Djorkaeff kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th of the match, Shane Smiley tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Pedro Rangel got in the way and made a wonderful save. Shane Smiley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pedro Rangel made a huge save. Genaro Cassidy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pedro Rangel made a huge save. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pedro Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Cassidy in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Clube Audax Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Rangel was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Genaro Cassidy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genaro Cassidy really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shane Smiley made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Smiley came free, but Pedro Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Genaro Cassidy notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel. Pedro Rangel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genaro Cassidy struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Pedro Rangel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the game, Ervin DeJesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. After 88 minutes, Ronaldinho Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Audax Metropolitano and the Racing Miami Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franco Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alix Vance in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ervin DeJesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Di Giambattista acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vítor Hendrix. When Keenan Worthington came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Racing Miami Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keenan Worthington couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Miami Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
