If Tadeu Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliks Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, FC SZAFIRY's Bogumil Gajewski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bogumil Gajewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC SZAFIRY protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bogumil Gajewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeu Custódio made a kick off.
