The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edward Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Pazura, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Tyler Morton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greenbay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Pazura in the 9th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Olimpia Koło booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Messenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpia Koło's Edmund Drugi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpia Koło from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the game, Tyler Morton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edmund Drugi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ashley Ross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Edmund Drugi made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Edmund Drugi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Pazura in the 24th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Ashley Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Drugi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ashley Ross left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 39th minute Miromir Pazura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match, Deon Bye tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edmund Drugi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th minute of the match Greenbay got a corner. Olimpia Koło's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mesut Özil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olimpia Koło's goalie and right to Tyler Morton. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olimpia Koło's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrzej Gollob was the one to do the kick off. Dobromir Budrewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Greenbay's Edward Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Bryant came free, but Edmund Drugi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Drugi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Özil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Drugi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Morton, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Edmund Drugi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Greenbay's Tyler Morton. But to his dismay, Tyler Morton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Deon Bye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Drugi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deon Bye in the 74th minute of play. Edmund Drugi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Bryant went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute of the match Greenbay got a corner. Olimpia Koło's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mesut Özil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sacha Groves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmund Drugi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edmund Drugi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Bryant in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zack Alderson in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Drugi saved Olimpia Koło from getting behind. Miromir Pazura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Edward Engström made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Deon Bye came free, but Edmund Drugi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpia Koło's Edmund Drugi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Alderson in the 96th minute of play. Greenbay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
