Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xamo Echague kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayo Cobo to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Santiago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Azubeli Gimilio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luis Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salomone Galera hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Luis Iban might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azubeli Gimilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Iban ran back to his position shaking his head. Azubeli Gimilio made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Luis Iban sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Jonatan Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azubeli Gimilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahía é Carnaval's Horacio Lia suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. Uriel Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azubeli Gimilio having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Jonatan Santiago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamo Echague in the 29th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gagriel. The audience was convinced that Xamo Echague's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Romeri was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Uriel Chorche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xamo Echague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sergio Romeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Tuset's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Romeri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Santiago was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Delfino. Azubeli Gimilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Santiago's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Salomone Galera fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alianza FC's protests and gave Salomone Galera a yellow card for diving instead. Xamo Echague who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Sergio Romeri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Santiago to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alonzo Delfino hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Luis Iban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luis Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Jonatan Santiago got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Xamo Echague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xamo Echague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romeri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Azubeli Gimilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Iban in the 97th minute of play.
