Gogo Dancer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azubeli Gimilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gogo Dancer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azubeli Gimilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alianza FC's Azubeli Gimilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Dancer in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Gavela to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza FC's zone, Gogo Dancer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azubeli Gimilio came out of the goal and Gogo Dancer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Corullon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Azubeli Gimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Dancer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azubeli Gimilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Dancer in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Xamo Echague notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vännäsby BF's Lukács Fabiański. Lukács Fabiański was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Dancer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gogo Dancer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azubeli Gimilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Azubeli Gimilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Dancer in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Dancer in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azubeli Gimilio saved Alianza FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Echague in the 54th minute of play forced Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Lukács Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alianza FC's Azubeli Gimilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Dancer in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Vännäsby BF were awarded a corner. Gogo Dancer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gogo Dancer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Azubeli Gimilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gogo Dancer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Vännäsby BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Dancer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Alianza FC booed when Vännäsby BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Alfonso Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Gogo Dancer took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Azubeli Gimilio to make any attempt to save it. Vännäsby BF's August Mellbad was substituted for Vykan Clicker. Vännäsby BF were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Alianza FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gogo Dancer took the corner. The corner led Vännäsby BF's Gogo Dancer to fire away a dangerous shot which Azubeli Gimilio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Magnus Karlssons short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Azubeli Gimilio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Magnus Karlsson had several of the Alianza FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Azubeli Gimilio as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Gogo Dancer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vännäsby BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Dancer couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Alianza FC defense, Gogo Dancer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azubeli Gimilio. The Alianza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azubeli Gimilio should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza FC's goalkeeper Azubeli Gimilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gogo Dancer put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Azubeli Gimilio. Vännäsby BF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
