The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Nikolkov got free with Leopoldo Cerezo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Nikolkov. After 16 minutes of play, 100 Chance's Naldo Marquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radko Kostakiev was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Maritza's Leopoldo Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angel Guglev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Maritza booed when 100 Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maritza's Kuncho Alichkov got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Marin Nikolkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maritza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Nikolkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes, Marin Nikolkov made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Radko Kostakiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Trifon Pazvantov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Maritza's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Capixaba came free, but Radko Kostakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Angel Guglev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edu Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marin Nikolkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Marin Nikolkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leopoldo Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Kuncho Alichkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maritza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Kuncho Alichkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Milko Shiyachki kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Kuncho Alichkov came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radul Prokopiev took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 83 minutes into the game, Maritza's Angel Guglev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 87 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Radul Prokopiev came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radul Prokopiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Guglev in the 94th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maritza fully deserved thier win.
