The supporters of Vestegnens Betonhelte booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmen Johannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Therkel Rybert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Atke. The supporters of Vestegnens Betonhelte booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjef John in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bruno Gotti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Spas Mager was substituted for Therkel Norstrand. 25 minutes into the match, Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Kåre Hård had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Gotti. Carpathians's Claudio Gentile was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kåre Hård in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bruno Gotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Hård having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Carpathians's Bruno Gotti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Hård. Kåre Hård yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabe Gaab. Kåre Hård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 55th minute of play. Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathians from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Bruno Gotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Hård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Kåre Hård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Gotti in the 67th minute of play. Bruno Gotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Hård having to interfere. Carmen Johannis's late challenge caught a Vestegnens Betonhelte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmen Johannis helped the player get up and apologised. When Carpathians's Bruno Gotti in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Bruno Gotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Hård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bruno Gotti came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Carpathians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Gotti couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Ronni Krogbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Hård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Titulescu in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vestegnens Betonhelte players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carpathians.
