Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gösta Messi started the match with the kick off. Jesper Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 played minutes Gothic Souls got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Davids. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesper Vollander got free with Menderes Hikmet in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Vinicio Beliran put in a rough tackle. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tugay Kerimoglu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gothic Souls's supporters rose to their feet, but Tugay Kerimoglu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Distiratsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Gothic Souls's Öztürk Umuralp. But to his dismay, Öztürk Umuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Umuralp came free, but Teofilo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xabi Alonso in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Distiratsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Öztürk Umuralp's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Teofilo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Ozan Gökdoğan in the 27th minute of play. Teofilo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Ozan Gökdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute Öztürk Umuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, John Cena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZigZag Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gothic Souls the free kick. 44 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Ozan Gökdoğan came free, but Teofilo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Clodoveo Baldovino got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Öztürk Umuralp to make the kick off. Ergün Penbe charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ergün Penbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Gothic Souls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergün Penbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Bengt-Rune Öman got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gothic Souls's Menderes Hikmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Wyrzykowski in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezmi Çağakan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gothic Souls defense, John Cena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menderes Hikmet. The Gothic Souls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menderes Hikmet should have stopped the shot. Menderes Hikmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Messi in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Öztürk Umuralp got a free kick in the 70th minute. 2-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Gösta Messi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. August Hökkvist replaced Jesper Vollander. ZigZag Athletic's Yu Ran Sha was substituted for Lin Xiao Chao. Menderes Hikmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Menderes Hikmet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezmi Çağakan to maneuver through the defense. When Gösta Messi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the ZigZag Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Messi couldn't finish the play. Gösta Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menderes Hikmet having to interfere. When Gösta Messi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the ZigZag Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Messi couldn't finish the play. Gothic Souls succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ZigZag Athletic had controlled the match.
