The audience was convinced that Jesper Vollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Vallin was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Messi came free, but Georg Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Jesper Vollander made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Protegéerna's Georg Vallin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when ZigZag Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Cena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bennet in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, ZigZag Athletic's Jesper Vollander made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Vallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Jesper Vollander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georg Vallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Gösta Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Messi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Vallin. Georg Vallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Vollander came free, but Georg Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Erling Skarkman hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Erling Skarkman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Protegéerna and the ZigZag Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erling Skarkman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy Bennet to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Jesper Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Vollander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Protegéerna made a substitution. Oscar Löfgren replaced Fredrik Billberg. 63 minutes into the game, Hector Ares threw the ball into play from the sideline. Protegéerna's Erling Skarkman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 64 minutes into the game, Jesper Vollander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Georg Vallin. Jesper Vollander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Georg Vallin was a little too slow when Jesper Vollander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-7. ZigZag Athletic's Yu Ran Sha was substituted for Lin Xiao Chao. ZigZag Athletic's Teofilo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Gallberg in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, August Hökkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Georg Vallin. The goal made the score 0-8. After 81 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Yu Ran Sha. After some careless play in the ZigZag Athletic defense, Roy Gallberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Distiratsu. The ZigZag Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Distiratsu should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Hökkvist in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Vallin saved Protegéerna from getting behind. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Erling Skarkman with Börge Arenberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If August Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper Georg Vallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by August Hökkvist.
