An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Tolino in the 6th minute of play forced Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Tanek Piechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Piechocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arquímedes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Milian in the 11th minute. Szalone Konie's Tanek Piechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ur in the 14th minute of play. Tanek Piechocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Ting Jian's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Arquímedes's Ren Ting Jian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanek Piechocki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tanek Piechocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Ting Jian in the 19th minute of play. Arquímedes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Milian in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Arquímedes's corner Placido Milian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tanek Piechocki quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ren Ting Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szalone Konie's Tanek Piechocki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ren Ting Jian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Piechocki was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Anastasio Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Tipinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Placido Milian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanek Piechocki. Szalone Konie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Bartlomiej Tipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Cordara got free with Anastasio Quirce in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Szostak in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Quirce saved Arquímedes from getting behind. Zygmunt Szostak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Anastasio Quirce made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goalkeeper Anastasio Quirce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Szostak. In the 42nd minute, Szalone Konie's Bartlomiej Tipinski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasio Quirce. Anastasio Quirce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Klement Pliszka put in a rough tackle. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartlomiej Tipinski to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Bartlomiej Tipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arquímedes's Anastasio Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Rasiak in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Szalone Konie's zone, Norberto Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Piechocki came out of the goal and Norberto Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanek Piechocki was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Vicente Ur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Ur really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Szalone Konie made a substitution. Maksymilian Marosz replaced Bartosz Mosiniak. The Szalone Konie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arquímedes's performance. The match ended with a win for Arquímedes.
