In the 11th minute, Jaime Corte-Real ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Sainz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aureo Bajo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Osvaldo Vilaverde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureo Bajo. Osvaldo Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureo Bajo in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aureo Bajo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldo Vilaverde. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. Osvaldo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Barroso in the 39th minute of play. With 44 minutes on the clock, Hernando Zafrilla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Dinamita on Grass's Hernando Zafrilla got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Sainz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VB-Team reached it. The Dinamita on Grass players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VB-Team were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Caeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Caeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Igor Sainz made a huge save. Igor Sainz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Caeiro in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Dinamita on Grass getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nuno Barroso hit a great ball. Dinamita on Grass's Igor Sainz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Zjawin in the 55th minute of play. Roberto Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Telmo Bulhosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Sainz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when VB-Team's Jaime Corte-Real looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Caeiro got free with Igor Sainz in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telmo Bulhosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Sainz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goalkeeper Igor Sainz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Caeiro. With an all-out effort, VB-Team's Igor Sainz threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Telmo Bulhosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Corte-Real in the 79th minute of play forced Dinamita on Grass's goalkeeper Igor Sainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamita on Grass's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Jaime Corte-Real scored to the left of an out of position Igor Sainz, making the score, 2-4. Dinamita on Grass's Igor Sainz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Zjawin in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jacek Zjawin notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Dinamita on Grass's Igor Sainz. Igor Sainz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goalkeeper Igor Sainz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Caeiro. Jaime Corte-Real fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Sainz having to interfere. When the match was over VB-Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dinamita on Grass throughout the match.
