The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erkan Fostiropoulos was the one to do the kick off. Flames FC's Micheal Burnham got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Micheal Burnham off the ground. Orval Crow scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uwe Ziege, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orval Crow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uwe Ziege having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Ebbo Böse got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Orval Crow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Ziege came out of the goal and Orval Crow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Schößler. Uwe Ziege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orval Crow, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ebbo Böse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flames FC had played much better football throughout.
