After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo F.C.'s zone, Torbjörn Stålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. D'Avis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Nyqvist having to interfere. São Paulo F.C.'s Pedro Paulo de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 94th minute of play.
