But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volli Alviste couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Volpe hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peedu Laht during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Orange booed when Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peedu Laht didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Beppe Persichetti came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Orange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Persichetti couldn't finish the play. In the last second Roland Allikvee throw himself and got hold of the ball when Amedeo Pollastrini in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 32nd minute of the match Orange got a corner. Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arrigo Giusto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Orange's corner Arrigo Giusto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roland Allikvee quite easily take care of the ball. Beppe Persichetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Allikvee having to interfere. Beppe Persichetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Allikvee having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Amedeo Pollastrini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Allikvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Pollastrini in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Amedeo Pollastrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Allikvee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Beppe Persichetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Persichetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volli Alviste in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Pierdomenico saved Orange from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Volli Alviste made a kick off. In the 54th minute Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud were awarded a corner. Kuido Pregel went to the cornerflag to take it. Valdek Valinu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Beppe Persichetti scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Allikvee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Amedeo Pollastrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Pierdomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volli Alviste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volli Alviste got free with Davide Pierdomenico in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Roland Allikvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Pollastrini in the 72nd minute of play. Davide Pierdomenico was a little too slow when Hardo Pajur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Orange getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Amedeo Pollastrini hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Kuido Pregel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Orange's Davide Pierdomenico didn't even have to move. 90 minutes into the match, Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Hardo Pajur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Pierdomenico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Volli Alviste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Pierdomenico was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Orange succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud had controlled the match.
