Djurgården United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablofaryd F.C. the free kick. Placido Afonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Åke Qvalfeldt. Djurgården United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Diablofaryd F.C.'s zone, Ferdi Zati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Rolado came out of the goal and Ferdi Zati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Djurgården United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Neto to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Eron might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Åke Qvalfeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Eron ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Diablofaryd F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Efrain Luar hit a great ball.

The Djurgården United fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Djurgården United's Ernst Burman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ernst Burman sped through Diablofaryd F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimeno Rolado. Karl-Åke Qvalfeldt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Eron's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Djurgården United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gilberto Neto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Elpidio Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diablofaryd F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Rolado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jimeno Rolado made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ernst Burman sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Djurgården United booed when Diablofaryd F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Sonny Njurenius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimeno Rolado. The goal made the score 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Djurgården United's Ernst Burman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimeno Rolado. That made the score 0-5 after 84 minutes of play. After 88 minutes, Ernst Burman made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Jimeno Rolado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Gerardo Eron got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sonny Njurenius scored 0-7 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Rolado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
