Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edvaldo Leal got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Coffman came free, but Célio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brice Leach made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Edvaldo Leal sent off a good shot on target. After 12 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Saraiva. Célio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Denílson Vander got a free kick in the 16th minute. Célio Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee Coffman went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Denílson Vander hit a great ball. Randell McCullough took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Célio Machado. Capivara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 31 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Saraiva. In the 32nd minute, Ellsworth Lindsay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varennes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lee Coffman might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lee Coffman ran back to his position shaking his head. Célio Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Lee Coffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ellsworth Lindsay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lee Coffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guto Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Leach having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Loic Deal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Denílson Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes of play, Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 76 minutes, Ellsworth Lindsay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ellsworth Lindsay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Gale Laliberté got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capivara FC's Célio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Coffman in the 80th minute of play. Ellsworth Lindsay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Célio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ellsworth Lindsay in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Machado saved Capivara FC from getting behind. 0-6 became the score in the 91st minute when Ellsworth Lindsay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Randell McCullough charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randell McCullough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Randell McCullough hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Edvaldo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Brice Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Varennes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
