After 9 played minutes, BFC 1982's Ambrosio Etxatxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelu Oroian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BFC 1982 reached it. Andrei Bulencea took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Bordat. Abel Bordat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of BFC 1982 booed when FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Zglimbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Lucas Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Napier during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, BFC 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Napier to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Alexandru Ţăranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gelu Oroian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. BFC 1982's Abel Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Lucas in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Vali Manciulea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Abel Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s Luís Munteanu was substituted for Lucas Lucas. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s Iustin Postelnicu was substituted for Vali Manciulea. Inocencio Corderall took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelu Oroian. Gelu Oroian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Corderall in the 72nd minute of the match. Luís Munteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hector Napier hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- defense, Ambrosio Etxatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Oroian. The FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Oroian should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, BFC 1982's Abel Bordat got control of the ball when Luís Munteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the BFC 1982 defense, Iustin Postelnicu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bordat. The BFC 1982 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Bordat should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BFC 1982.
