An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Aguiar in the 14th minute of play forced PLASNIKE's goalkeeper Cristian Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, PLASNIKE's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Guerra came free, but Cristian Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Torino SSA booed when PLASNIKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Hats showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Aldo Favila got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Torino SSA's Ricardo Leite made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Hats was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Solustiano to make the kick off. Sílvio Luiz da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cristian Hats made a huge save. Cristian Hats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Luz in the 73rd minute. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Hats firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, PLASNIKE's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto de Senna came free, but Cristian Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
