SC Freiburg 09's Serafim Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Nilsson in the 18th minute of play. Silvano Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Käcker having to interfere. Ulf Beckeman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Zacarias Monsanto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Freiburg 09 and the BK Nerysminne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Robert Örtlund hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Serafim Salvado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Lindgren's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The BK Nerysminne fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when BK Nerysminne's Ingvar Lindgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Robert Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Serafim Salvado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Lindgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Serafim Salvado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The SC Freiburg 09 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Nerysminne's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Nerysminne.
