Marcelo Linares made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Yuri Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
