C A U's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 78 minutes into the game, Raul Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C A U the free kick. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Raul Cayo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lucas Barcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Barcelos came free, but Dante 舒 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urti Asturiano to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Barcelos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante 舒 came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Barcelos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 89th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 94th minute, but Dante 舒 got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Samsunspor hanging dry this time. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C A U eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
