Eusébio Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th minute, Thierry Bianchini made a precise shot to the right of Manos Partalakis. Panionios MK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Evaristo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Partalakis having to interfere. Eusébio Hoffmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sofoklis Stergiatos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. When Charilaos Kalokerinos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eusébio Hoffmann was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Thierry Bianchini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panionios MK's Manos Partalakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Panionios MK's Giorgos Kalabokis got a free kick in the 75th minute. Giorgos Kalabokis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eusébio Hoffmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Giorgos Kalabokis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a corner. Panionios MK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vinícius Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. Breno Brodel made a great header on Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's corner, it was just that Panionios MK's Manos Partalakis managed to reach the ball for a save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panionios MK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
