Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruud van Nistelrooij started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Golden Tigers got a corner. Joga Bonito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naem Al Khaled ran over to the corner to take the kick. Naem Al Khaled made a great header on Golden Tigers's corner, it was just that Joga Bonito's Aleksander Buczko managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 10th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Aleksander Buczko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Literski in the 13th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Aadil Al Harban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Edrees Al Najdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Buczko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edrees Al Najdi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksander Buczko saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. Joga Bonito's Aleksander Buczko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalaf Kakoli in the 15th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Ruud van Nistelrooij elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hugon Mios charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugon Mios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aadil Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Andrychowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes Golden Tigers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Chrzan who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Witomir Dobrzechowski put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aadil Al Harban. 36 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Aleksander Buczko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij. In the 38th minute, Abdul Rahman Al Youha made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Buczko. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Aleksander Buczko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalaf Kakoli in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Aleksander Buczko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij. Ruud van Nistelrooij could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Aleksander Buczko made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Aqel Al Hindi got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Tobiasz Henryk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Literski to make the kick off. If Ruud van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Andrychowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aadil Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalefa Al Homaithe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Robert Chrzan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aadil Al Harban came out of the goal and Robert Chrzan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Rahman Al Youha came free, but Aleksander Buczko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Buczko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Rahman Al Youha, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Teofila. Aleksander Buczko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naem Al Khaled in the 71st minute of the match. Robert Chrzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aadil Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naem Al Khaled during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Naem Al Khaled. Aqel Al Hindi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Golden Tigers's Naem Al Khaled got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Naem Al Khaled off the ground. In the 80th match minute, Golden Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naem Al Khaled to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zula Oryl during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Tobiasz Henryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Tigers's Ruud van Nistelrooij got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Ruud van Nistelrooij got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Buczko prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
