Punk Fathers were furious when Ntinos Vlontakis was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 9th minute, one of Punk Fathers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Punk Fathers. 11 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Cruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefanos Manolopoulos. João Adolfo Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 14 played minutes Punk Fathers got a freekick which was hit by Apostolos Fotiadis. André Luís Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Stefanos Manolopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panagiotis Grigorakos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Panagiotis Grigorakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Loukas Kallitsis came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Niceto Xacintu made a precise shot to the right of Stefanos Manolopoulos. Punk Fathers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Luís Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Grigorakos in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Punk Fathers got a corner. Flying Dutch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitris Papazacharias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Punk Fathers's Panagiotis Grigorakos to fire away a dangerous shot which Luís Paulo Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Niceto Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefanos Manolopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Panagiotis Grigorakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Grigorakos scored 2-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niceto Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Stefanos Manolopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. The Punk Fathers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefanos Manolopoulos should have stopped the shot. Punk Fathers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dimitris Papazacharias in the 70th minute. Luís Paulo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luís Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Manolopoulos having to interfere. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gilmar de Azevedo hit a great ball. Stefanos Manolopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flying Dutch's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
