Conan Nightingale's late challenge caught a Bicicleta F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conan Nightingale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conan Nightingale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Arthur Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stewart Booker hit a great ball. A hard shot 10 in the game by Segundo Feliu from a close distance when the talented Alfie Parrott managed to make a qualified save. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's players were relieved. Segundo Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alfie Parrott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes Bicicleta F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brynn Walsh who took care of the corner kick. Eleuterio Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rodd Lemerond hit a great ball. Eleuterio Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Edwardo got free with Alfie Parrott in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute of the match Bicicleta F.C. got a corner. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Segundo Feliu ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Edgardo Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicicleta F.C.'s protests and gave Edgardo Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bicicleta F.C.'s Edgardo Iruinea got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Nathan Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Alfie Parrott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Feliu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Feliu to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Sotil scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfie Parrott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfie Parrott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Feliu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Segundo Feliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bicicleta F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alfie Parrott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Feliu in the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stewart Booker during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eleuterio Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicicleta F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sotil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfie Parrott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nathan Stevens. Bicicleta F.C.'s Fausto Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bicicleta F.C. from getting a goal against them. Fausto Roderigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerry Pullen in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsmen Vahat came free, but Alfie Parrott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bicicleta F.C. fully deserved thier win.
