Jeremias Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jeremias Araújo hit a great ball. Los Bacanas FC's Danilo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Helberg in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Eurico Jacinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixten Malmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sixten Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Jacinto in the 14th minute of the match. Sixten Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Asdfgh got a freekick which was hit by Anders Åström. After 21 minutes, Eddie Stenman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asdfgh and the Los Bacanas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Eddie Stenman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Jacinto. Danilo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Helberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Brian Pålsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Los Bacanas FC booed when Asdfgh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Malmberg having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Arvid Bruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Jeremias Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Bacanas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Helberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Sixten Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Araújo in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Birger Pil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Teles. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birger Pil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Birger Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Bacanas FC's Danilo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Asplund in the 63rd minute of play. Danilo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Pil in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Bacanas FC's Reginaldo Esteves got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Pil in the 67th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Danilo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Asdfgh getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Peter Asplund hit a great ball. The referee showed Brian Pålsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Asdfgh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sixten Malmberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 91st play minute Eurico Jacinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sixten Malmberg. 2-4. The Los Bacanas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Bacanas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
