After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Podolski to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cyber Attack's Mathys Courrèges got control of the ball when Lukas Podolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cyber Attack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Dalí was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's Kuno Wittwer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathys Courrèges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reşit Selman got free with Mathys Courrèges in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, FC 08 Brühl's Reşit Selman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathys Courrèges. Mathys Courrèges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The FC 08 Brühl players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
