Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Rubén-Darío Delgado made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén-Darío Delgado came free, but Virgilio Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Heli Hontoria. Giraldo Laiseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Leocadio went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Herminio Matthew charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Matthew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herminio Matthew hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Virgilio Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berenguer Costilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Pello in the 24th minute of play. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Pello in the 25th minute of play. Cristo Leocadio scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giraldo Laiseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 30th minute of play. The corner led Gastres FC's Everardo Pello to fire away a dangerous shot which Giraldo Laiseca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Giraldo Laiseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Segundo Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Laiseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 38th minute of play. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Astor Sobrido replaced Urti Rancaño. After 40 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Matthew. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubén-Darío Delgado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgilio Txilar. That made the score 2-2 in the 41 minute of play. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubén-Darío Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Segundo Bortzaioriz made the kick off in the second half. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Segundo Bortzaioriz scored to the left of an out of position Giraldo Laiseca, making the score, 2-3. In the 55th minute, Gastres FC's Segundo Bortzaioriz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Segundo Bortzaioriz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Giraldo Laiseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 63rd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Astor Sobrido made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Txilar. Gastres FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén-Darío Delgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Fredy Bareiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giraldo Laiseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Bortzaioriz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 85 minute of play. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rubén-Darío Delgado hit a great ball. Gastres FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
