Dalmo Freire was a little too slow when Tiaguinho Novaes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Wilian Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dalmo Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Freire having to interfere. Dalmo Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EC Fragata's Dalmo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Novaes in the 20th minute of play. Dalmo Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Tiaguinho Novaes put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Freire. Adrianinho Alvarenga hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. EC Fragata's Dalmo Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save EC Fragata from getting a goal against them. After having played for 40 minutes, Flavinho Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, EC Fragata's Luiz Guilherme Falcão got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flávio Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dalmo Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Eugênio Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Danilo Varela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmo Freire skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Flávio Toledo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiaguinho Novaes during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Tiaguinho Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC Fragata's Dalmo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Toledo in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Sydney Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EC Fragata and the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Sydney Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Freire came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Tiaguinho Novaes. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Patrick Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Porto in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Toledo came free, but Dalmo Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Varela made a great header on Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's corner, it was just that EC Fragata's Dalmo Freire managed to reach the ball for a save. After 85 minutes of play EC Fragata's Sydney Quirino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Noel Araújo hit a great ball. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilian Mandrak went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Tiaguinho Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
