Aston Villa F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Web Clube the free kick. Ricardo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Baki Salat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Villa F.C's Denílson das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Romero in the 16th minute of play. Ernani França made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cláudio Gomes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa F.C's Sidnei da Cunha got a free kick in the 19th minute. The throw-in from Tiaguinho Nóbrega in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dinamo Web Clube's Paulo Carioca. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baki Salat in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson das Neves saved Aston Villa F.C from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Aston Villa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Carioca came free, but Denílson das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Mané Camargo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denílson das Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Baki Salat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Villa F.C's Denílson das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baki Salat in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Baki Salat sped through Aston Villa F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denílson das Neves. After some careless play in the Aston Villa F.C defense, Paulo Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson das Neves. The Aston Villa F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson das Neves should have stopped the shot. Dinamo Web Clube's Baki Salat got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Dinamo Web Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Baki Salat made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Baki Salat took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Denílson das Neves to make any attempt to save it. Aston Villa F.C's Denílson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Carioca in the 60th minute of play. Dinamo Web Clube's Diego Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denílson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Batista in the 64th minute of play. Aston Villa F.C's Denílson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Romero in the 69th minute of play. Baki Salat took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson das Neves. Denílson das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Dinamo Web Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aston Villa F.C.
