The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Pardina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Stătescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Pardina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Stătescu to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Baciadonne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gipuzkoa Chamochin in the 8th minute of the match. Los Gallos were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Pardina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulisses Miranda took the corner. Armando Porro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Pardina's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pardina's zone, Vladimiro Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Baciadonne came out of the goal and Vladimiro Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes, Robert Stoica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardina and the Los Gallos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Pardina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Stoica to maneuver through the defense. Pardina's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 22nd minute of play. If Vladimiro Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Jerold in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Baciadonne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 39th minute of play forced Pardina's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gipuzkoa Chamochin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 42nd minute of play forced Pardina's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Vladimiro Jerold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Baciadonne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The wind increased when Vladimiro Jerold made the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. During the 88th minute of the match Ilie Stătescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ilie Stătescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 91 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Jerold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Baciadonne. Vladimiro Jerold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Los Gallos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
