Fulgencio Ferrando scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Joel Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sidney Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the game, Emanuel Haimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Sidney Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Nelson Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miau Stars's Sidney Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Haimar in the 28th minute of play. If Laureano Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Emanuel Haimar put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney Queirós. Club Atletico Huaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miau Stars the free kick. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Club Atletico Huaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Pires in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Laurendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Shepherd made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goalkeeper Sidney Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Ofelio. Sidney Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Haimar in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Laureano Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Fulgencio Ferrando kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Emanuel Haimar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sidney Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th minute Club Atletico Huaco were awarded a corner. Emanuel Haimar went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute Emanuel Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sidney Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miau Stars's Sidney Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Miau Stars from getting a goal against them. Sidney Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Haimar in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Emanuel Haimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. 89 minutes into the match, Laureano Shepherd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidney Queirós, 1-12. The Club Atletico Huaco fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Club Atletico Huaco's Fulgencio Ferrando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Club Atletico Huaco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
