Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Delmar Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute of the match, Delmar Berenguer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olov Wahlnäs was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 19 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gaspard. When Radoslaw Zakrzewski fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Radoslaw Zakrzewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Zakrzewski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Berenguer got free with Olov Wahlnäs in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Gren came free, but Edgar Smuskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Levandowsky in the 31st minute of play. Henry Alkvist made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hahay's Thomas Ulleberg. In the 36th minute, Delmar Berenguer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Wahlnäs. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 38th minute, Delmar Berenguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Wahlnäs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Berenguer came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Vidar Fransson got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Marek Kaider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Kaider was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hahay booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Alkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Marek Kaider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Wahlnäs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
