In the 2nd minute, one of EL PEPO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EL PEPO FC. Ezequiel Boniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Toscano in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Independente FC's Nilson Duarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Independente FC's Raí Prestes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ezequiel Boniel. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. 19 minutes into the match, Luiz Marquez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel. Ezequiel Boniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celso Inge hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Camilo Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Independente FC booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Boniel was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Hudson Toscano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hudson Toscano really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Raí Prestes took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Ezequiel Boniel to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Hudson Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Hudson Toscano scored 8-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Boniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute of the match Aloísio da Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Boniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Clodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luiz Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Boniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After 53 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Inge. Ezequiel Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Duarte in the 56th minute of play. Independente FC's Nando Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Camilo Policarpio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nando Sena. Camilo Policarpio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-1. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Isaac Tiso replaced Denis Guerrero. In the 66th minute, Isaac Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes, Independente FC's Hudson Toscano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ezequiel Boniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independente FC reached it. After 69 minutes of play, Independente FC's Luiz Marquez made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Boniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jacinto Ayala's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Jacinto Ayala got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Raí Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Ezequiel Boniel. EL PEPO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-1. Ezequiel Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson Toscano went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score. The Independente FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Independente FC's Luiz Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Raí Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Independente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Prestes couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Luiz Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-1. There was no doubt that Independente FC were the better team. Independente FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
