Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelino Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Cordeiro in the 14th minute. Eloy Sidro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Angelino Raulo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angelino Raulo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Saverio Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the La Zabaleta defense, Eloy Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Raulo. The La Zabaleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Raulo should have stopped the shot. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Raulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Ayuntamiento CF fully deserved thier win.
