The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Axø in the 14th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Oliverios Marcilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charlie Gustavsson was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th minute of the match Dogelo got a corner. Ciudad Tao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristóf Földes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kristóf Földes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charlie Gustavsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 26th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Charlie Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Jimmie Vennerlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciudad Tao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dogelo the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Kristóf Földes. Oliverios Marcilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charlie Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliverios Marcilla ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverios Marcilla came free, but Charlie Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Kristóf Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverios Marcilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charlie Gustavsson having to make a save. Charlie Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliverios Marcilla's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Oliverios Marcilla came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliverios Marcilla couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Axø in the 44th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Axø, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Kristóf Földes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charlie Gustavsson was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Dogelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmie Vennerlund to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zaid Markström during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ciudad Tao FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zaid Markström hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Charlie Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristóf Földes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliverios Marcilla got free with Charlie Gustavsson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliverios Marcilla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charlie Gustavsson. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Billy Lundström got a free kick in the 60th minute. Dogelo's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 62nd minute of the game, when Kristóf Földes after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Ciudad Tao FC's goal. Kristóf Földes was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 64th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Oliverios Marcilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Kilstedt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Ciudad Tao FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dogelo:s goal. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Dogelo's Kristóf Földes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Charlie Gustavsson. 90 minutes into the game, Oliverios Marcilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charlie Gustavsson. Oliverios Marcilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Dogelo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
