Carabata Groove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Edelmiro Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Rosendo Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Carabata Groove's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulgencio Natal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 31st minute Carlos Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Natal scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Ihazintu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Ihazintu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pastor Bela sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Xabat came free, but Nereo Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Pastor Bela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Ihazintu. Pastor Bela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Nereo Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Bela in the 41st minute of play. Edelmiro Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carabata Groove's Carlos Arnas in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almeyra F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 44 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Gitano. In the 48th minute, Fernando Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Xabat was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Ihazintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Fernando Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Nereo Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Ihazintu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat. But to his dismay, Celedonio Xabat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 69th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Carabata Groove's Nereo Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Natal in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Xabat came free, but Nereo Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Natal took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Ihazintu. Nereo Ihazintu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Arnas got free with Edelmiro Ticho in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Natal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Celedonio Xabat notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Carabata Groove's Nereo Ihazintu. Nereo Ihazintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Ihazintu having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Almeyra F.C. fully deserved thier win.
