Ingvar Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Kvalfält got free with Ivo Amaral in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded NovaStella FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Cruzeiro FC.
