Ivo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Erland in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Abílio Carreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivo Amaral. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as LFS Sapphire Club's Abílio Carreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivo Amaral. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Aleksander Lukasik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Guilherme Cabral went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, LFS Sapphire Club's Fedele Cardella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivo Amaral. Ivo Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 29 minutes into the game, Fedele Cardella recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivo Amaral. Fedele Cardella showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. In the 32nd minute Fedele Cardella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Piesciuk in the 33rd minute. Ronaldo Vianna hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Abílio Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Cerocki went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, LFS Sapphire Club's Iwo Wozniak got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Cerocki got free with Ivo Amaral in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Abílio Carreira made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ivo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Cerocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Salles during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Salles. Abílio Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute, Abílio Carreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 64th minute, Belmiro Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Piesciuk in the 65th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Cabral hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ivo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Cerocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abílio Carreira took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Amaral. Ivo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Abílio Carreira sped through Real Cruzeiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivo Amaral. 9-1 came in the 78th minute when Pankracy Piesciuk all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ivo Amaral. In the 80th minute, Abílio Carreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LFS Sapphire Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1.
