When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nunez Elzuardi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leon Urtzi to make any attempt to save it. 15 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Lauro came free, but Moreno Gaztelumendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moreno Gaztelumendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Bonifaco in the 17th minute of the match. Cleto Paio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moreno Gaztelumendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Paio ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Dionisio Bonifaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moreno Gaztelumendi. Hogwarts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Bonifaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Atlético Argentino fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Atlético Argentino's Dionisio Bonifaco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the game, Atlético Argentino's Cleto Paio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moreno Gaztelumendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 33rd match minute, Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Rocio to maneuver through the defense. If Ubaldo Villarruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Villarruel. After a rather tough play, Hogwarts's Ubaldo Villarruel got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Bonifaco was the one to do the kick off. Moreno Gaztelumendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Paio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Bonifaco in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moreno Gaztelumendi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leon Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Villarruel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes in the game, Candido Lauro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Moreno Gaztelumendi having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Olalde to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Dionisio Bonifaco notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Hogwarts's Moreno Gaztelumendi. Moreno Gaztelumendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
