Dante Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Dante Quintan got a free kick in the 4th minute. Flavio De Matteis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Apolo Richie made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Carlo Imperatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Imperatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Flavio De Matteis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Apolo Richie was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Sabin came free, but Christian Pelliccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gabriel Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Pelliccioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting a goal against them. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Firmani in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Apolo Richie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's zone, Davide Zisser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Richie came out of the goal and Davide Zisser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Alberto Firmani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Richie. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Firmani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Christian Pelliccioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Toli in the 40th minute of play. Alberto Firmani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Richie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Dante Quintan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With his leg Apolo Richie managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Gonzo Style f.c's Flavio De Matteis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Flavio De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Richie having to interfere. Benito Handi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes, Albano Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS and the Gonzo Style f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albano Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Amedeo Signoretti sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio De Matteis in the 61st minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Apolo Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's zone, Flavio De Matteis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Richie came out of the goal and Flavio De Matteis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio De Matteis took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Richie. Apolo Richie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Apolo Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio De Matteis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Firmani in the 76th minute of play. In the 88th minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Antonio Mundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Antonio Mundo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gonzo Style f.c fully deserved thier win.
