Lorenz Henrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 布 西 in the 20th minute of the match. Kurt Post could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but 钱宽斐 made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Karsten Mrozik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanzenkirchen's supporters rose to their feet, but Karsten Mrozik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 钱宽斐 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karsten Mrozik scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 钱宽斐, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurt Post hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Kurt Post got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 布 西 was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, 布 西 took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lorenz Henrich to make any attempt to save it. 钱宽斐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Post in the 56th minute of play. Lorenz Henrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 布 西's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
