Fermin Mingo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Asmund Marchorst made a huge save. The supporters of Muten booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besart Toto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Bertol got free with Asmund Marchorst in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. 11 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Onbera came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmund Marchorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Raitin in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Kismi saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Muten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Gaizkine during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Mateo Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Dolfos got free with Asmund Marchorst in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Muten's Asmund Marchorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Dolfos in the 32nd minute of play. Asmund Marchorst came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol. But to his dismay, Constantino Bertol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 41st minute of play forced Muten's goalkeeper Asmund Marchorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Dolfos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Asmund Marchorst made a huge save. In the 45th minute, C. A. Atlanta's Iker Dolfos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asmund Marchorst. Asmund Marchorst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Raitin to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Constantino Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muten made a substitution. Alfonso Cebrian replaced Amadeo Raitin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Onbera in the 58th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iker Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. Atlanta's corner, it was just that Muten's Asmund Marchorst managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute, Federico Gil made a precise shot to the right of Asmund Marchorst.
