The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Lekparken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Rui Pernambucano fired a really elegant long shot, but Sigge Holmberg threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 18th minute, Mauro Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cyryl Kiewra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lekparken FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyryl Kiewra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Stålman in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho Alcântara got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erling Boklund kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Lekparken FC from getting a goal against them. Pesqueira City's Júlio Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Måns Stålman's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Måns Stålman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Lekparken FC's Abdurrahman Aslan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdurrahman Aslan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lekparken FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdurrahman Aslan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho Alcântara got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyryl Kiewra was the one to do the kick off. Cyryl Kiewra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ivo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Dráuzio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigge Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Bastos in the 57th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Dino Braga. In the 65th minute, Dino Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Kiewra in the 72nd minute of play. Ivo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Kiewra in the 74th minute of the match. Mauro Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ivo de Moraes made a huge save. Ivo de Moraes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Lekparken FC's Mauro Bastos. But to his dismay, Mauro Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 83 minutes into the game, Lekparken FC's Cyryl Kiewra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivo de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 87 played minutes, Pesqueira City's Humberto Xavier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sigge Holmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pesqueira City reached it. 89 minutes into the game, Mauro Bastos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ivo de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
