Bram Van Der Burg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miklós Fehér scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Viktor Edelényi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Budapest's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Edelényi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Fehér in the 14th minute of play forced ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Miklós Fehér dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clodoveo Ursino, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bram Van Der Burg in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bálint Hellinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Miklós Fehér kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clodoveo Ursino. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Budapest's Viktor Edelényi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Marco Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ákos Bihari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clodoveo Ursino. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 37 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Bihari. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when FC Budapest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Fehér didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miklós Fehér to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Fehér came free, but Clodoveo Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bram Van Der Burg hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, FC Budapest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignác Selymes to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Ákos Bihari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Budapest getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Félix Kis hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Miklós Fehér ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Ursino was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miklós Fehér in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Ursino saved ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting behind. Bálint Hellinger was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Marco Herensuge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Herensuge really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Clodoveo Ursino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ákos Bihari in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy White. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Herensuge in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Clodoveo Ursino came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Budapest's Ákos Bihari. But to his dismay, Ákos Bihari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Botond Kutasi in the 84th minute of play forced ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Herensuge struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bálint Hellinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ. Marco Herensuges short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Bálint Hellinger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th match minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Senin to maneuver through the defense. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
