Manchester United F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Evaristo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaboudjan's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Tolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Linares hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Eustacio Soter put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Baptista. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Luizão Peixoto got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Luizão Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Starnes kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Eustacio Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Nicholson took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Baptista. Miguel Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Seth Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Starnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Mann having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Linares in the 82nd minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Miguel Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Eustacio Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Linares in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Karaboudjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Simões to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Gilberto Gonzo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Manchester United F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
