Cachoeirinha and the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Fabinho Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Galliani came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ercole Rainaldi fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's protests and gave Ercole Rainaldi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Ercole Rainaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Campo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Rafinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Allegretti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Campo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael de Carvalho having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafinha Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vinhas. If Davide Cardano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide Cardano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Davide Cardano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Davide Cardano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Campo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ismael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC. Alfredo Campo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael de Carvalho having to interfere. When Davide Cardano came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Cardano couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Edoardo Tieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC had played much better football throughout.
