Wasyl Oryniak scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Bachmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Mykhaylo Mudryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tymoteusz Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miro Klose in the 18th minute of play. Tymoteusz Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykhaylo Mudryk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Near End's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Klose came free, but Tymoteusz Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tymoteusz Piszczor came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Adam Dieler. But to his dismay, Adam Dieler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After some careless play in the Near End defense, Adam Dieler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tymoteusz Piszczor. The Near End fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tymoteusz Piszczor should have stopped the shot. Tymoteusz Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Dieler in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Near End's Tymoteusz Piszczor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Near End from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Miro Klose recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tymoteusz Piszczor. Miro Klose showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-12. When the match was over SSV Ulm 1846 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Near End throughout the match.
