Felipe Jaramillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Duendes Verdes's Maximino Otsoa got a free kick in the 10th minute. Venancio Feo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Jaramillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Aquiles Cena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Macario in the 25th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes BRUGGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Dei Henriquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Donio in the 37th minute of play forced BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Quirce Amador was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRUGGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duendes Verdes the free kick. After 38 played minutes BRUGGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Quirce Amador. The crowd rose to their feet as BRUGGE FC's Teofilio Pangua slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venancio Feo. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Jaramillo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Jaramillo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Feo saved Duendes Verdes from getting behind. In the 54th minute Ronaldo Albar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ronaldo Albar made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Feo. Duendes Verdes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Duendes Verdes's Venancio Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Albar in the 68th minute of play. If Felipe Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilio Pangua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Venancio Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilio Pangua came free, but Venancio Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Albar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Albar in the 78th minute of play forced Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Venancio Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dei Henriquez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Maximino Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Duendes Verdes booed when BRUGGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dei Henriquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilio Pangua in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Feo saved Duendes Verdes from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Jaramillo in the 95th minute of play forced Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Venancio Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes, Felipe Jaramillo made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Duendes Verdes's Venancio Feo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that BRUGGE FC were the better team. BRUGGE FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
